Recurring Activity Reports send scheduled summaries of your account’s communication activity. These reports allow you to review calls, messages, and chats handled by Abby without logging into the portal.

Reports can be delivered daily, weekly, or monthly and are sent by email as downloadable attachments.


What Recurring Activity Reports Do

Recurring Activity Reports provide a summary of activity handled by your AI Receptionist and Human Receptionists during the selected reporting period.

Each report may include information such as:

  • Caller or visitor name (if available)

  • Phone number or contact information

  • Date and time of the interaction

  • Call or chat duration

  • Receptionist who handled the interaction (AI or Human Receptionist)

  • Caller sentiment (positive, neutral, or negative)

  • AI call summaries or receptionist message notes

You can choose which activity types are included in the report.

Available activity types include:

  • Incoming Calls

  • Outgoing Calls

  • Receptionist Messages

  • Live Chat

  • Abby Answered SMS


Where to Find It

  1. To enable or manage Recurring Activity Reports:

    1. Log in to the Abby Connect Portal.

    2. Navigate to Settings → Notifications.

    3. Locate Recurring Activity Report Notifications.

    4. Toggle Recurring Activity Reports to On.

    5. Choose the report frequency:

      • Daily

      • Weekly

      • Monthly

    6. Add one or more email addresses under Recipient Email List.

    7. Select the activity types you want included.

    8. Choose the report format:

      • PDF

      • CSV

      • Both

    9. Click Save.

    Reports will begin sending based on the selected schedule.


What the Report Includes

Reports are sent by email from [email protected] and typically include:

  • A summary of the selected activity types

  • Downloadable report attachments

  • A preview of the activity summary in the email body


Attachments

Attachments can be delivered in one or both formats.

PDF

Provides a formatted report that is easy to read, review, and share.

CSV

Provides an Excel-compatible file that can be sorted, filtered, or analyzed in spreadsheet tools.

CSV reports may include columns such as:

  • Caller

  • Number Called

  • Transfer Destination

  • Call Duration

  • Caller Sentiment

  • Date

  • AI Call Summary

Use recurring reports for regular review
Daily or weekly reports help teams stay informed about communication activity without logging into the portal.

Add key stakeholders
Include managers, administrators, or team leads who need visibility into call activity.

Use CSV reports for analysis
CSV exports allow you to analyze trends and activity patterns using spreadsheet tools.


Troubleshooting

Not receiving reports?

  • Verify that Recurring Activity Reports are toggled ON in Settings → Notifications.

  • Make sure your email is correctly listed in the Recipient Email List.

  • Check your spam folder or whitelist [email protected].

  • If attachments aren’t included, confirm that PDF or CSV is selected under Attach Summary As.
