Usage Notifications alert you when your account is approaching the monthly limit of included Human Receptionist minutes. These alerts help you monitor usage during your billing cycle and plan accordingly if call volume increases.
Notifications are triggered automatically when your account reaches specific usage milestones.
Note: Usage Notifications currently apply only to Human Receptionist service.
What Usage Notifications Do
Usage Notifications are sent when your account reaches the following thresholds of your included Human Receptionist minutes:
75% of your monthly included minutes
100% of your monthly included minutes
When one of these thresholds is reached, an email notification is sent showing:
The number of minutes used
The number of minutes remaining in the current billing cycle
These alerts apply to the entire account. All recipients listed in the notification settings will receive the same usage notification.
Where to Find It
Log in to your Abby Connect Portal.
Go to Settings → Notifications.
Find the Usage Notifications section.
Toggle on to enable usage alerts.
Confirm or update the email recipients listed.
Best Practices
Monitor usage early: Enabling 75% alerts helps you take action before running out of minutes.
Add key team members: Include your billing contact or account manager to ensure someone always receives the notice.
Check your plan cycle: Your usage resets automatically each billing cycle — you can see your current cycle on your Dashboard.
Troubleshooting
Didn’t receive the alert?
Double-check that your email address is listed correctly under My Profile → Contact Info.
Make sure notifications are enabled under Settings → Notifications → Usage Notifications.
Check your spam folder or whitelist @abbyconnect.com.
