Call Details Notifications

Stay instantly informed about your receptionist-handled calls — as they happen.

Call Detail Notifications send real-time alerts whenever a call is handled by your AI Receptionist or Human Receptionist. These alerts allow you to monitor call activity without logging into the portal.

Notifications can be delivered by email, text message (SMS), or push notification through the AbbyGo mobile app.

You can control which calls trigger notifications and what stage of the call generates the alert.


What Call Details Notifications Do

Call Detail Notifications can be configured based on two factors:

Call Direction
You can choose to receive notifications for:

  • Incoming Calls – calls from clients, leads, or other callers (AI & Human Receptionists)

  • Outgoing Calls – calls made by your Human Receptionists on your behalf

  • Both Incoming and Outgoing Calls

Notification Timing
You can also decide when notifications are sent:

  • When the Call Is Answered

  • When the Call Is Completed

  • Both


Information Included in Each Notification Type

The information included in the notification depends on which timing option is selected.

When the Call Is Answered

Notifications triggered when the call is answered include:

  • Caller ID (phone number)

  • Who answered the call (AI or Human Receptionist)

  • Date and time the call was received

This option provides a quick alert that a call has been picked up.

When the Call Is Completed

Notifications triggered when the call is completed include more detailed information:

  • Caller ID (phone number)

  • Who answered the call (AI or Human Receptionist)

  • Date and time the call was answered

  • Date and time the call ended

  • Call summary

  • A link to the full activity record in the portal

Completed notifications provide the most complete overview of the interaction.

Note: AI-generated call summaries are written in English. If a caller speaks another language, the summary will still appear in English.


Where to Find It

To enable or manage Call Detail Notifications:

  1. Log in to the Abby Connect Portal or AbbyGo mobile app

  2. Navigate to Settings → Notifications

  3. Locate the Call Detail Notifications section and toggle on

  4. Select the call types you want to monitor:

    • Incoming

    • Outgoing (Human Receptionist Only)

    • Both (Human Receptionist Only)

  5. Select when notifications should be sent:

    • Answered

    • Completed

    • Both

  6. Choose how notifications should be delivered:

    • Email

    • Text (SMS)

    • Push Notification (AbbyGo mobile app)

  7. Add or confirm notification recipients.

  8. Click Save.

Notifications will begin once the settings are enabled.

Use Cases

Use completed notifications for full call visibility
Completed notifications include call summaries and activity links, making them more useful for reviewing interactions.

Use answered notifications for immediate awareness
Answered notifications are helpful if you want to know when calls are picked up in real time.

Limit recipients to those who need real-time updates
Adding too many recipients may result in unnecessary notification volume.
