Where to Find Contacts
Log in to your Abby Portal.
From the left-hand menu, click Account → Contacts.
You’ll see a list of all current contacts linked to your account.
Add a New Contact
Click the ➕ Add New Contact button.
Enter details such as:
Name
Phone number(s)
Email
Title/Role
Click Save.
Adding contacts helps your receptionist quickly identify and route important calls.
Edit an Existing Contact
Select the contact from your list.
Click Edit.
Update details as needed.
Save changes.
Keep phone numbers and emails up to date to prevent missed transfers.
Delete a Contact
To delete a contact, email [email protected].
We review routing logic before removal to ensure call flows remain intact.
What You Can Configure Per Contact
Each contact includes several configurable areas:
Transfer Settings
Add up to three transfer numbers.
Set transfer type (Blind or Supervised).
Enable “Transfer if Requested by Name.” (AI Receptionist Only)
Contact Status & Availability
Set real-time availability.
Create recurring schedules.
Schedule temporary overrides.
Use status templates.
Message & Notification Settings
Add email recipients.
Add SMS notification numbers.
Assign voicemail boxes.
