You can search for callers, messages, chats, or other activities using names, phone numbers, email addresses, or keywords.
Global Search is available in both the Abby Connect Portal and the AbbyGo mobile app.
What You Can Search
Global Search looks across your account’s activity history and returns matching results from multiple activity types.
Search results may include:
Human Receptionist calls
AI Receptionist calls
Messages
Live chats
Voicemails
Each result links directly to the full activity record so you can review details such as transcripts, notes, call summaries, and message information.
Common Search Examples
You can search using different types of information depending on what you’re trying to find.
Examples include:
Caller name
Example search:
John Smith
Finds calls, chats, or messages involving that contact.
Phone number
Example search:
7025551234
Finds every interaction associated with that phone number.
Email address
Example search:
[email protected]
Useful for locating messages or contact records.
Keywords
Example search:
consultation
billing
appointment
This can help locate calls or chats where those terms appear in notes or transcripts.
Viewing Search Results
When you perform a search, Abby displays all matching results in a list.
Each result includes:
activity type
contact information
date and time of the interaction
Selecting a result opens the full activity record, where you can view additional details such as:
call summaries
transcripts
receptionist notes
call recordings
messages sent
When Global Search Is Helpful
Global Search is useful when you need to quickly locate past interactions, such as:
reviewing a conversation with a specific client
checking whether someone already called earlier in the day
locating a voicemail or message
reviewing the history of a specific phone number
Instead of manually scrolling through activity logs, Global Search allows you to jump directly to the interaction you need.
