Reviewing Voicemails

Updated over 3 weeks ago

If a caller leaves a voicemail instead of speaking with a receptionist, the voicemail will appear in your Activities section. From here, you can listen to the recording, review the transcript (if enabled), and add internal notes.

Voicemails are available in both the Abby Connect portal and the AbbyGo mobile app.

Where to Find Voicemails

Open Activities → Voicemails to view all voicemail messages received for your account.

The voicemail list shows:

  • Caller Number – The phone number that left the voicemail

  • VM Box – The voicemail inbox the message was received in

  • Duration – Length of the voicemail

  • Transcription – A preview of the voicemail message (if transcription is enabled)

  • My Notes – Internal notes you add to the voicemail

  • Date – When the voicemail was received

Selecting a voicemail opens the full voicemail details.

Voicemail Details

When viewing a voicemail, you can:

  • Play the voicemail recording

  • View the caller’s phone number

  • See the voicemail duration

  • Add internal notes

  • Read the voicemail transcript (if enabled)

Playback controls allow you to pause, skip forward/backward, and adjust playback speed.

Voicemail Transcription (Optional Add-On)

Voicemail transcription converts voicemail recordings into readable text so you can quickly understand the message without listening to the recording.

This feature is available as an add-on:

  • Auto VM Transcription — $12.99/month

  • Additional Auto VM Transcription — $6.49/month

If transcription is enabled on your account, a Voicemail Transcription tab will appear when viewing voicemail details.
