Reviewing Messages

Messages are created when Abby takes a message for a caller instead of transferring the call. You can review these messages directly in the Abby portal or AbbyGo mobile app.

Messages can appear in two places:

  • In the Messages section of Activities

  • Inside the individual call record for that interaction


Where to Find Messages

Messages Activity View

You can review all messages in one place by opening the Messages view in Activities.

This view shows:

  • Date – When the message was created

  • Sent To – The email addresses or phone numbers the message was delivered to

  • Notes – The captured message details

  • Rating – Optional rating of the message quality

Selecting a message opens the full message details.


Inside a Call Record

If a message was taken during a call, the message will also appear at the bottom of the call’s activity record.

This lets you review the message alongside other call information such as:

  • call summary

  • call recording

  • transcript

  • call tags

  • call actions


Message Details

When viewing a message, you may see information such as:

  • Type of Call

  • Caller First and Last Name

  • Phone Number

  • Email Address

  • Company Name

  • Additional message notes

The exact fields depend on how your call handling is configured.


My Notes

You can add your own internal notes to a message using the My Notes section.

This is useful for:

  • tracking follow-ups

  • documenting conversations

  • adding reminders for your team
