Understanding Call Tags

Call Tags help categorize and organize calls handled by Abby. Tags allow you to quickly understand the purpose of a call and filter activity inside your portal. Call Tags are automatically assigned by Abby’s AI based on the conversation during the call.

Default Call Tags

New Abby accounts start with several standard tags, including:

  • New Client – A caller interested in becoming a new customer.

  • Current Client – An existing customer calling for support or service.

  • Upset Caller – A caller expressing frustration or dissatisfaction.

These tags help you quickly identify important conversations.


Custom Call Tags

You can request custom Call Tags to better match your business needs.

Examples include:

  • Sales Lead

  • Appointment Request

  • Billing Question

  • Technical Support

Custom tags allow you to organize calls based on the types of interactions your business receives.

How Call Tags Are Used

Call Tags help you:

  • Filter call activity in the portal

  • Identify high-priority conversations

  • Track call trends

  • Review AI call classification

Tags appear in the Activities section of the Abby portal, within individual call records, and exported reports.
