Setting 24/7 Availability for Contacts

Enable 24/7 availability for contacts.

By default, contacts are Unavailable. Abby will only attempt transfers when a contact is marked Available.

If you want a contact to be available 24/7, you’ll set a recurring availability schedule that covers the full day.

How to set a contact to 24/7 Available

  1. Go to Account → Contacts.

  2. Select the contact and click Edit.

  3. Open the Call Handling tab.

  4. In the Recurring Status section, create (or edit) a recurring status:

    • Status: Available

    • Start time: 12:00 AM

    • End time: 11:59 PM

    • Recurrence: Daily

  5. Click Save.

Repeat for each contact who should be available at all times.

Important notes

  • If a contact has no recurring Available status, they will remain Unavailable by default.

  • Temporary status changes (like marking someone unavailable for a meeting) will override the recurring schedule while active.
