Connecting Abby Connect to Zapier allows you to automate workflows and integrate Abby Connect with hundreds of other apps—without needing to write any code. Once the connection is set up, you’ll be able to create “Zaps” that send Abby Connect data to other systems or pull information into Abby Connect.
Step 1: Get Your Abby Connect API Key
Log in to your my.abby.com account.
From the top navigation menu, go to Settings → Integration → Zapier.
On the Zapier page, you’ll see your API Key.
Click Copy to copy it to your clipboard—you’ll need it in a moment.
Tip: Treat your API key like a password. Do not share it publicly.
Step 2: Add Abby Connect in Zapier
Log in to your zapier.com account.
In the left navigation menu, click My Apps (sometimes called App Connections).
In the upper right-hand corner, click Add connection.
In the search field, type Abby Connect.
If you see multiple options:
Choose the one without a version number (this is the latest and recommended one).
When prompted, paste the API Key you copied in Step 1.
Click Yes, Continue to Abby Connect.
Step 3: Verify the Connection
Once added, you should see Abby Connect listed under your Zapier App Connections. This means the accounts are linked successfully.
You’re now ready to start building Zaps with Abby Connect.
Step 4: Create Your First Zap
With your connection live, you can now create automated workflows. A Zap consists of a trigger (something that happens in Abby Connect) and one or more actions (things that happen in other apps—or vice versa).
Here are a few examples of Zaps you could set up:
Send a Slack notification when a new call is received in Abby Connect.
Create a Google Sheet row for each new call log entry.
Add new Abby Connect contacts to your CRM automatically.
Send an email through Gmail or Outlook when certain types of calls are logged.
These are just examples—you can combine Abby Connect with thousands of Zapier-supported apps to create the automation that fits your workflow.
