Your AI Receptionist books appointments straight onto your Google Calendar during the call, using only the times you allow.
What does it do?
While on the call, the AI Receptionist offers open times and books the appointment on your Google Calendar.
You decide what kinds of appointments can be booked (Scheduling Types) and when (Availability).
You can view, add, edit and delete booked events from the portal.
Before you start
You need an AI Receptionist plan — the Google Calendar card is only for AI Receptionist scheduling. You'll also need the Google account that owns the calendar.
How do I set it up?
Sign in at my.abby.com and go to Account > Integrations. Find Google Calendar.
Click Add Google Account, sign in to Google and allow access.
Choose the calendar Abby should book on.
Set up Types: add at least one Scheduling Type (for example, "New Client Consult"). Give each one a name and either a fixed length, or Ask caller for duration with a minimum, a maximum and a step size.
Set up Availability: set the hours Abby may book on this calendar, or choose Open 24/7.
When the calendar shows Ready for scheduling, you're done.
Good to know
If you see Reconnect needed, click the reconnect button on that Google account. Abby can't book on it until you do.
Remove Calendar stops one calendar from syncing. Disconnect removes the whole Google account and all of its calendars.
Only account users with Admin or Full access can see the Integrations page.
