How to Redirect Calls for a Team Member Who Is Out for the Day

If a team member is out of the office for one day and you want their calls to be sent to another person, you can make a temporary change to their call routing.

Here’s how to do it:

  1. Log in to your Abby Connect Portal.

  2. Go to the team member’s contact and edit (the person who is out).

  3. Go to Call Handling and set an upcoming Status to forward calls to another team member. You can choose a start and end time so the system will automatically revert once the team member returns, without requiring you to edit it again

  4. Save your changes — the update takes effect immediately.

Notes:

  • This change can be made for just one day and easily reverted.
