How to Track Your Usage

Tracking your usage helps you stay within your plan and avoid overage charges—Abby makes it easy to monitor everything in real time.

Where to Find Your Usage

You can track your usage directly in the Abby client portal:

  1. Log in to your Abby Portal

  2. On the Dashboard, look for the yellow usage box in the top right corner:

    1. If you have both AI and Human Receptionist services, you’ll see separate usage tracking for each:

    2. If you're using LiveChat, you'll also see your active chat count here:

3. For more detailed stats, head to the left-hand menu and click: Subscription → Usage Statistics


What Counts Toward My Minutes?

  • For both AI and Human Receptionist Minutes
    Usage includes ring time, talk time, and transfer time, rounded up to the nearest 30-second increment. Hold time is excluded.

When Does My Usage Reset?

Your usage resets monthly, two days before your billing date.

For example:

If your billing date is the 17th, your usage cycle runs from the 15th to the 15th.

This ensures accurate reporting across all services.


Need Alerts or Tracking Support?

Navigate to Settings → Notifications in the left-hand menu

Under "Account Usage Notifications," toggle the switch on, enter the email address where you'd like to receive alerts, and choose whether you'd like to be notified at 75% or 100% of your usage.

Don't forget to press save!
